A few weekends in ago I needed to mail out some encouragement cards to some friends. I came up with several cards using a set called "Fabulous Florets" from Stampin Up and added a Bible verse to them.
I always find God's Word very encouraging and hope and pray that God used my card and the verse on it to be an encouragement to the friends that I sent it to. Have a wonderful day!

Time and Goodies With a Good Friend
A good friend came to over to my house last week. It was very nice seeing her and having the chance to catch up on things. As usual when we see each other we swap some thing that we made. She used one of her "paper doll" stamps to make this for me. I love her outfit!
I used my new bow die from Stampin Up to make these bows for her.
It was funny that both of us surprised each other with part of our Christmas gift early. Both of us gave each other an item that we had our "wish lists." I gave her a mini brayer and she gave me a die. (Sorry I didn't think of having my friend carry the brayer.) Here we are with the gifts that she gave to me.
Here is a close up picture of the house warming gift that she gave to me- a Hawaiian girl and boy salt shaker. Aren't they super cute?

Fall Leaves on a Jar
My tea swap partner for last month was Kim. The optional theme was "Fall." She made this card for me. (The card I made for her was one of the cards that I posted in an earlier post. It was one of my first set of cards for Fall.)
I think it's such a great idea that she put the leaves to decorate the lid of the jar. I also really like the background of her card. Thanks again Kim for being such a fun swap partner!

A Tea Party For Three
Last Friday, a friend and I took a good friend to have a "tea party" a little baby shower for her as she expecting a baby very soon. As their invitations I made a tea pot.
For the party favor I wrapped boxes of cookies up and made a bow using the bow die from Stampin Up. (I love that die and have been having a blast playing with it. I think that is now my favorite die. Stay tune for a future post with the bows that I have made.)
Here is close up picture of the two bows.
Here we are at the tea party.
My two friends ordered tea and salad
and I ordered sandwiches and tea with edible flowers.
Here is close up picture of one of my sandwiches with an edible flower on it. (Yes, I was daring enough to try a petal. At first it didn't taste too bad, but towards the end it tasted bitter. I guess I will stick to only eating flowers made out of frosting. :))
For the teas we tried a house blend and a pomegranate pear tea. Our favorite was the pomegranate pear tea. Everything was very onolicious except for the flowers. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the tea room.
As we were waiting for our tea and food to be served we gave my friend her gifts. This is what I got for her
and made for her.
It was very nice being able to get together with two friends to have a tea party and to celebrate such a special time. Thanks for stopping by and being patient in looking at such a long post.

Fall Cards
It has been a super busy and tiring week. This is why I have not posted anything in a week. So happy that I have some time today to post some fun cards that I made last weekend. The cards that I made were my first ones for Fall.
All of them have the same layout, but are slightly different even though it's hard to tell the differences in the picture. You may need to click on them to see a bigger image to see the slight differences. The first one has some corrugated lines on it. The second one just has the specs in the background and the last one I used has some dry embossing on it. Which one do you like the best? Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, God bless, have a great weekend, and take care!
