Sister Stamps is one of my favorite companies. One of my good friends told me about the company when it first started and I was hooked immediately. All their stamps are super cute. I think I have almost every one of their stamps. I recently made a card
using one of their stamps for a friend's b-day. It was lots of fun coloring it. I recently inked up another stamp from Sister Stamps, colored it, and put it on top of a bag of rice crackers. (The friend that I gave the bag of rice crackers to is a taiko drummer so I thought it would be the perfect stamp image to color for her.) The taiko drummer stamp that I used is a boy, but I changed it into a girl by adding a pony tail. Sister Stamp's does have a taiko drummer that is a girl but I don't have that stamp.
Sister Stamps recently designed a t-shirt. I purchased one for one of my friends as a gift and of course purchased one for me. Here is a picture of my friend with the t-shirt on. I unfortunately did not wear my Sister Stamps t-shirt for Chinese New Year.
I don't use the Sister Stamps as often as I would like to because it takes time to color them. When I do have a chance to make one I always have a relaxing time coloring with my Copics. Thanks for stopping by!

A Fun and Memorable Weekend Crafting and Eating
Last weekend was indeed another fun and memorable one. It started off with my good friend Esther and I attending a class taught by one of the leading ladies of Sizzix- Stephanie Bernard. It was awesome attending her sold out class and getting to chat with her. I met her once before at an expo. She is one super nice and talented person.
Here is Esther and I with 2 out of the 3 cards that we made.
It was of course awesome getting to shop in her store too.
Check out all her products, cutely decorated store, and all the card samples.
After purchasing some fun products Esther took me out to lunch for my birthday at Yard House. We ordered a Poke Stack for our appetizer.
Each of us ordered an entrée, but shared a half of our burgers with each other. She ordered a lamb burger on potato bread and I ordered a burger with lobster on top. Both of them were onolicious! The french fries were very good too. It seems like they fried them twice to make them extra crispy.
Before heading home we stopped a very elegant bakery called Casey's Cupcakes.
Esther purchased a cappuccino cupcake for me. Both of us had so much fun together at lunch that we lost track of time. I had to rush home for a dinner party that I was having with some friends for my birthday. Thankfully the traffic was not too bad and I got home at a decent time. I freshened up my make up and changed by clothes and was off to dinner. It was very nice having dinner with 4 good friends at Green Street.
Two people ordered their Diane Kale salad,
one person ordered their regular Cornucopia salad,
and two people ordered their regular Diane salad.
We all had a fun and delicious time together. As a "thank you" gift to all the friends that I have had lunch or dinner with so far to celebrate my birthday I made them a treat holder using one of my newest dies from Sizzix and a delicious piece of chocolate pattie in it.
It has been such a blessing and so much fun celebrating with various friends this month. I look forward to a few more get together with friends. After all my birthday meals I am definitely going to need to go on a diet. LOL! Have a blessed day! Until next time!

Our Fun and Relaxing Vacation in SF
Almost a little more than a week ago my family and I went to San Francisco for five fabulous days. As you
continue reading you may want to enjoy some thing to drink as you read. This is a fairly long post. So sorry about being so long winded. LOL! Before heading off for our trip besides packing I made my good friend Gail a card (since we will be having dinner together in SF) and put it together in a party favor bag with some crafty goodies. I attached a flower on a close pin as the bow on her RAK.
I also made her a bow using her favorite color to put on her b-day gift bag.
Okay, now onto some fun pictures of our trip. We had a great time sightseeing at Angel Island. We took a ferry across the SF Bay to go to the island where we went on a tram tour. Even though we
had a beautiful view of the bay on the tour
it was very sad learning about what the Chinese immigrants went through. Here is a picture of some of the buildings that they were housed in.
On the island we also had a big workout going up 60+ stairs.
After making it up to the top we realized that we did not have to go all the way up since the tram was going to take us to where the stairs led to. At least we worked off all the food that we ate so far on our trip. LOL! We also had fun shopping (at some of our favorite stores like Michaels and Barnes and Nobles which were awesome as well as some stores in Japantown. While we were in Japantown
I ate a green tea with red bean crepe
and purchase two Tokidoki bags, and a this cute purse.),
eating ono food(crab salad sandwich on Boudins sour dough bread, calmari, sashimi, waffles with spam in the batter and fried chicken, meatloaf with collared greens and candied yam, loco moco, eggots, and oxtail with mac and cheese and coleslaw.)
visiting museums- a wax museum
and a Pez Museum,
the SF Zoo where saw many beautiful flowers and animals,
and visiting with friends. On Friday we had dinner with Benson's friend from college and her family.
She made kaula pork with cabbage, mac salad, and dumplings. We ate the dumplings with miso dressing from HI which made the dumplings even more yummy. I had to purchase a model before going home to use with our dumplings, salads, etc. We also had brunch with her family before we went home on Sunday. Her ohana got us this delicious box of cookies from Hawaii.
On Friday we had dinner with my friend Gail and her hubby at a Southern restaurant called Hard Knox Café. (Two of the entrees we ordered were the meat loaf and the oxtail pictured above.)
She gave my family and I such a thoughtful, generous, and creative RAK.
My family and I thank the Lord for another amazing trip together in SF. When we were planning our trip we were thinking that since we went to SF 3 years in a row for Spring Break that we would not be going to for awhile. After going there however I think we will be there for at least one more time next Spring. We found several more fun places that we would like to visit. Thanks for dropping by and sticking it out for such a long post.

Three Treats, Some Stars and Time With Friends and My Hubby
I hope that everyone is having a fun and crafty April so far. Mine has been pretty good with getting to have more time to spend with family and friends. Well today I am going to share with you some fun Easter RAK that I received. My friend Gail made my family and I each treat holders using the tag punch from Stampin Up. She is makes such fun and creative gifts with the tag punch. Shannon gave me the yummy the M&M's cone.
My friend Dori sent me a package of delicious cookies and teas inside a box that she cleverly designed. She also gave me a cute set of buttons. I really like how she coordinated everything is my favorite color.
Last but not least is from my friend Susanna. She folded many stars and put it a cute glass container with a cross on the top.
I wonder how long it took her to fold all those stars. Seeing the stars is making me wonder where all my strips of paper are so that I can fold some stars too. Awhile back I was hooked on folding them. I have not folded any for awhile. Thank you my friends for the fun and thoughtful RAK. Before I end this post I wanted to share some pictures of memorable times that I have had last week with my hubby and some friends. My hubby and I went on date to go to the Dead Sea Scroll's Exhibit.
It was nice going to the exhibit without out kids asking us if it's time to go home. :) Three friends took me out to lunch to celebrate my b-day ( I ordered a pull pork sandwich. Two of my orders clam chowder and a salad. My third friend ordered a hot dog and chili.)
One other friend surprised me and took me out to dinner. She ordered a Chinese chicken salad
and I ordered a salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
Both of our dinners were delicious. At the end our meal she said that she is treating me out for dinner for my b-day. Before we left the restaurant I gave her a little RAK that I wrapped and die-cutted a bow using cardstock that coordinates with the the DSP. I crimped the different pieces of the bow before putting it together.
It was such blessing to be able to hang out with 4 of my friends to celebrate my b-day early and to spend half a day with my hubby. Thanks for stopping! Have a blessed day/evening!
