Happy Monday! Last week on Thursday one of my good friends and I had blast at Candytopia, a roving candy museum. It was funny a few weeks ago when we were talking on the phone I asked her if she would be interested in going to the museum. She said that she was going to ask me if I am interested in going. Great minds think alike. :) Good thing we purchased tickets that night online because the museum will be leaving soon to New York. It was an hour full of fun, laughter, and sweet fellowship. Prior to going to the museum I made her a this tag. I colored it with my Copics and fussy cut the stamp image from Stamp Annie Thing to put on the tag. My friend loves lady bugs so I thought that she would love the outfit the girl is wearing.
I attached the tag to some goodies for my friend. All the exhibits at the museum were awesome. It is so cool how they used various kinds of candy for the everything. Here are some of my favorites.
There was one exhibit where they had a dust pan full of confetti and poured it on our heads. That was kind of fun!
There was also a marshmellow pit. We decided to not go in the pit, but we had fun playing with them.
I appreciate you for taking time to stop by from time to time to see what I have to share. I would love to see who has been stopping by so if you would like please leave me a comment so that I can say "thank you." Have a blessed week!

Mini Vacation in Seattle
A week ago my family and I went to Seattle for 2.5 days with my parents, sisters, BILs, niece, and nephew. It was a fun but exhausting few days. We were packed from morning until 11pm at night. Before leaving for our trip I made cards for the different people that we will be meeting up with. It was relaxing creating these sunset scenes. I write most of the cards at the airport while we were waiting to board the airplane.
In Seattle one of highlights was meeting up with family and friends that we have not seen for awhile. What a blessing it was to see my uncle that I have not seen since junior high, my cousins that I have not seen since I was in elementary school, and two friends that my hubby and I have not seen for at least 5-6 years.
Besides seeing family and friends we had a good time going to the MoPop Museum (We went to the Marvel exhibit, the Jimmy Hendricks exhibit, the Fantasy exhibit, the Sci-Fy exhibit, and a video game exhibit.) (Here is a picture of me with my new friend, The Thing.),
up to the Space Needle (The view was amazing!),
ate good food (This is my favorite- corn battered waffles with pork belly.),
and went to Seattle Center (We saw the first Starbucks, walked around at the Market Place, went shopping, walked down a gum hallway, and walked at the pier.).
At our layover in Portland was so happy to get a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher and a SBs gift card..
It was an indeed an awesome trip. My family and I thank the Lord for the opportunity to go there. Here is one last picture I will leave you with before I sign off for today. It's the beautiful sunset from our plane.
Have a blessed weekend!

Hello Kitty, Batman, and Good Food
It has been a fun but really hot summer. I can't believe that it is so hot! I hope that all of you are having a good summer and are staying cool. We have been having fun catching up with family and friends and relaxing. Unfortunately I have not done as much crafting as I would like. LOL! Today I would like to share with you a Hello Kitty card that I made for a friend that my kids and I had lunch together with this week.
My kids each drew a picture for her grandson that joined us for lunch.
Here is the delicious food that we enjoyed from Stone Fire Grill. We ate out on the patio so it was especially nice when there was a breeze.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

A Hawaiian Themed Scrapbook Page
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer so far. It has been a nice one for me. Today I have a scrapbook page that I made for a friend as part of her going away gift. All the people at work were asked to make a page for her to include in a scrapbook that we presented to her. She loves Hawaii so I thought it would be fun to make her a page with a HI theme.
I had a hard time initially doing the page since I am not used to making scrapbook pages. Although it making the page stretched my creative mojo a bit I am pleased with how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
