As you can see to add the perfect finishing touch to my card that is shaped like a tea pot I added some rhinestones to it and mounted it to a doily. I also want to share with you what a friend's 4th grade son and I colored with my Copic markers. He wants to be an artist one day and wanted to learn how to use the markers. I gave him a mini lesson. Can you tell which page he colored and which one I colored? :)
Okay now onto some fun photos from my week off. Here is a photo of me at an Air Supply concert that my family and I went to with some friends. Yes Graham and Russel walked in the aisles.
This picture is a picture of some friends and I out for lunch enjoying some poke.
Last but not least are some pictures of my final adventure on Sunday with my family before going back to work today. We spent the day at California Adventure. We met Judy Hops and Nick Wild from the movie Zootopia,
ate some ono food at the Wine and Food Festival (The dessert with mango pudding and coconut pudding with tapioca balls was one of my favorites.),
and meeting the artist Jerrod Maruyama. It was super cool to get a toys designed by him and a print done by him signed. His version of Mickey and Minnie are just too cute!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a blessed day and week.
I'll bet Fran was very happy with your teapot card. The bling sure adds that special touch. Wow, you and your friend's son did a fantastic job coloring with Copics. You're a good teacher. Ummm, that pudding looks so yummy and that sounds like a great combo....mango and coconut. I love them both.
ReplyDeleteA wonderfull teapot-card you have made for your friend Fran K.
ReplyDeleteMust have been awesome to meet up with Jerrod Maruyama, seen the picture on his blog.
It's always fun to read your Disney- and other adventures.
