The Easter Bunny That Shares God's Love

I hope that all of you are doing well and are ready to celebrate Easter.  I am very grateful today not only because of what I will be sharing in a minute or two, but because of God's healing on my gums.  I had my last and final wisdom tooth pulled yesterday.  The dentist told me that my mouth will be sore today.  Because of God's healing and many prayers said for me my mouth is fine.  No soreness at all.  Praise God!!!!!!!  Okay, now onto some more gratefulness.  I am most grateful for the sacrifice that Jesus paid on for the cross for me and you. It is because of Jesus love and sacrifice on the cross for us  that I celebrate Easter. One way that I celebrate and spread His love is by suprising family, friends, and my little peeps with goodies and handmade items from my heart.

I purchased these chalk board eggs from Target and decorated them using chalk makers and Stickles.

I also purchased eggs and put fun treats inside for some of my daughter's friends and for some of the little peeps that I know.

Last but not least I purchased some Japanese coffee (I got these for some of my male co-workers.)

some chocolate crosses,

and marshmellow bark for gifts.

These are the tags that I made to include with some of the gifts.  I used my rainbow pads to stamp  them. I love my rainbow pads!

Before I end I want to share a few pictures of what my family and I enjoyed eating the last time we were at California Adventure.  We ate at the Cove Bar.  We have been wanting to go there for awhile but every time we went the line was too long.  Thankfully when we went this time it was only a 45 minute wait.  We ordered flat bread pizza and

lobster nachos.

I ordered a club soda for my drink.  It was the best club soda I have ever tasted with lemon and mint leaves.  I am not sure if there was anything else in it, but I loved it. Not only was the food very good, but the view was awesome too.

I hope that you don't mind that I share one more picture with you.  It is of the super cute Disney eggs that my family and I got from our Easter egg hunt at Disneyland a few weekends ago.

My apologies for such a long post today.  I hope that you enjoyed my pictures. Thanks for stopping to see what I have been up to. Have a blessed Easter blog friends!

My Fun Weekends

Happy Spring! Every weekend starting from the last weekend of February I  had a fun event to attend.  On the last Sunday of February a friend I attended a class that one of our friends was teaching at an invitation store.  The owner of the store taught us how to fold an origami dress.  It was a bit complicated learning how to fold it.

I surprised the friend that was teaching the class with a special treat from Disneyland and made her a tag.

Before leaving some of us purchased some washi paper.

I did not purchase any.  I know that because the paper is so pretty I will not use it.  On the first Saturday this month I went to a Moofia Tokidoki blind box release at a local bookstore.  My daughter, a friend, and I waited in line for the event for 3 hours.  It was worth the wait though because we had lot so fun shopping at the store, got complementary milk and cookies (Isn't the cookie just too cute?),

played a game, took pictures of fun Tokidoki backdrops, and a picture with Mozarella.  This is a picture of him with a person that I ran into in line that used to work where I currently work.

I didn't recognize her from work but from previous events that we have both attended.  I made a tag with Moofia on it and attached it to a bag of yummy cuttle corn for the friend that attended the event with me.

The second Saturday of this month I went to the Zootopia book signing which I posted pictures of on my last post.  Last Saturday I attended a class with two friends that Taylor from Taylored Expressions was teaching.  (My friends and I new Taylor before she became "famous" in the craft world.  I used to take her classes once a month.  Since we take classes with her once a month.)

I surprised Taylor with goodies from Disneyland and made her a tag too.

At the class a person came up to me and introduced herself.  It was Jenny one of my previous Secret Sister Swap partners.

Thanks Jenny for coming up to me.  It was nice getting to meet you and having the chance to chat a bit. This weekend I will be attending a Stampin Up class. It has been so much fun attending all events even though I have been exhausted after each one.  I am looking forward to some quite weekends next month.  :)  Thanks for stopping by today!

February's Tea Swap and Some Fun Pictures

I hope that this post is finding everyone doing well.  This week instead of fighting a fever, I have been battling allergies.  I am hoping and praying that my nose will stop running soon.  I was hoping to write this post over the weekend, but I ran out of time.  After each fun day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I was a bit too tired to do much but relax.  I am finally getting around to writing a post today.  Stay tune for some fun pictures of my weekend at the end of this post.  First I'd like to share the tea swap that I participated in last month.  My friend Dori and I were paired up.  The optional theme was hearts and chocolate.  This is what Dori made and sent to me.

This is what I made and sent to her. (Inside the mini enveloped that I die-cutted I put a card in it and a piece of Gharadelli chocolate.)

Thanks again Dori for being such a fun and thoughtful swap partner last month.  Okay, not onto a few pictures of the fun events that I went to.  On Friday my family and I went to Hollywood to watch the new Disney movie "Zootopia."

Before we the movie we got to see a real live fox, rabbit, and a sloth.  We also got to watch a stage show with the two of the main characters dancing around. On Saturday, I had the opportunity to go to a book signing where I met some of the Disney animators of  "Zootopia."  After a 3 hour wait in front of the book store and 2 hour presentation and Q&A session I met the animators and got my booked signed.  Each person that attended the event got a movie poster from Disney.

Each of them are super talented and seemed to be very nice people. I was extra happy to get to meet the artist of one of my favorite characters-

On Sunday my family and I went to California Adventure for our annual Easter egg hunt.  Check out the big eggs around the park that we get to find using different clues from a map that we purchased.

We ended up purchasing 4 maps- two for Calif. Adventure, one for Disneyland, and one for Downtown Disney.  We purchased that many maps so that we could redeem some cute Easter eggs of some of 4 of our favorite characters.

Good thing we could redeem the eggs when we purchased the maps. Thanks for stopping by today to see what fun crafty projects I have to share along with fun pictures of what I have been up to.

In Honor of the Year of the Monkey

I am sorry that I have been MIA for a bit.  I was hoping to write up a post on Friday, but did not get a chance to do it.  By the end of the weekend I was too sick to much of anything but sleep.  I was in bed for 2 1/2 days with a low grade fever.  Thankfully after much rest, prayers, and medication I am feeling back to normal today.  :)  The flu bug has been going around.  I hope that you and your family have been able to stay healthy.  Well, today I would like to share with you some goodies that I put together for Chinese New Year.  Although Chinese NY was in early last month my side of the family did not celebrate with my extended family until last weekend.  We usually like to celebrate a month later so that the restaurants are not as crowded.  Along with passing out red envelopes my family and I purchased bags of rice crackers give out.  I used my banner punch die from Stampin Up to decorate the front of it.  I also used my circle punches and my word window punch from SU.  The monkey stamp is from a company called Snake Oil Sam that I am not sure if it is still around.

Along with the rice crackers I also purchase Chinese candy and decorated the box and stamped the monkey on it.

Before ending this post I wanted to share a picture of some friends and I at church wearing our Chinese outfits for our annual Chinese NY brunch.

Every year we invite our students' parents to join us to enjoy some porridge together.  We always have a fun time of eating and fellowship together. I almost forget.  I have two more pictures to share in honor of Chinese NY.  The first one is of my hubby and I at California Adventure for their annual Lunar NY celebration.

Last and not least is a picture of my long lost twin and I.  LOL!

We take an annual picture together wearing our Disney Chinese NY shirts.    Thanks for stopping by!
