A Beautiful and Fun Mini Vacation

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week.  My family and I had a good time with family and enjoyed all the good food.  After Thanksgiving my family and I went on a mini vacation.  We spent some time with family in Fresno and went to Yosemite.  Before leaving for our trip I purchased some shortbread as gifts for family that we will be visiting.  I die-cutted "Thankful for you" to put on each of the boxes.  I think the words added a nice personal touch to each of the boxes. (Sorry you need to click on the picture to get a picture view of the words.)

On our way to Fresno we stopped at the outlet to do some shopping on Black Friday.  I found some great deals at The Loft and Chicos.  I also went Hobby and Lobby and got a fab deal on Basil paper.  Check out all the gorgeous colors.

Here are a few pictures with family in Fresno.  They treated us to a delicious dinner on Friday (They ordered take out.) and

dim sum before for lunch on Sunday.

We loved our time in  Yosemite. It was absolutely beautiful there.  My favorite was the waterfalls.

To me the mountains look too perfect to be real.

and the trees are so majestic.  God's creations are indeed breath taking!

We visited a Japanese garden in Fresno after lunch on Sunday.  My favorite was the pond, bridge, and all the Fall colors.

Our last stop before heading home was getting some boba and dessert at Taipei 101.

We also ordered take out for dinner to eat in the car.  All their food was onolicious! Thanks for stopping by to see what I have to share.  Have a wonderful week!

Thanksgiving Treats

Hope that everyone is doing well and is ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in a few days.   It has been a busy time for me even though I have this week off from work.  I have been doing some paper work each day for work and spending time with family and friends.  I have done some crafting here and there, but not as much as I need to.  I am very behind on my projects.  Today I would like to share with you some Thanksgiving treats that I made for family and friends.  I kept it simple this year.

I appreciate each of you are taking time to stop by when you have a chance to see what I have been up to.  I hope that each of you will take some time to reflect on what you are thankful for and will have a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends.  Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

A Memorable Weekend and Time at Papertales

I hope that everyone is having a relaxing Veteran's Day weekend.  It has been a nice and memorable one for me.  On my day off from work on Friday my family and I went to the Winter Food Festival at California Adventure.  It was lots of fun and very yummy.  I will share some pictures with you at the end of this post.  Yesterday we had my BIL's memorial service. In honor of him we all wore a Star War's theme t-shirt.

All the guests were asked to wear a Star Wars theme, a superhero t-shirt, or a HE>I shirt.  Well, before I share with you some pictures of the yummy food we enjoyed I would like to share with you of one of the stops we always make when we visit San Diego.  A must stop for us is at one of my favorite craft stores- Papertales.  Of course a few weeks ago when my hubby and I were in SD for a concert we went to Papertales.  It is always fun going shopping there and visiting the honor of the stores.  Here is a picture of Michelle and I holding the goodies that we surprised each other with.  (If you are ever in the SD area be sure to check out Papertales.  The store is super cute!)

Here is a close of up picture of what she made for me (Check out the cute post-its inside.)

and what I made for her.

As promised here a some pictures from the food festival.  Our favorite was the curry lamb and the spare ribs. (As annual passholders we got to purchase a voucher with tabs on it to get a little discount on the food.)  I could not pass up on purchasing the lights.  I love the Mickey shaped heads.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great week!

A Disney Themed Post and Our Weekend in SD

A friend at work is having twins.  Her and her family are huge Disney fans like my family and I are so I thought it would be fun to give her a Disney themed gift.  Along with the Disney themed gift I made two tags to include with the gifts.

Before I end this post I wanted to share some pictures from a mini vacation my hubby an I went to last weekend in San Diego.  We got to eat lots of good food and have nice strolls along the beaches.

The best part was getting to a Hawaiian concert where our favorite singer Keali'i Reichel performed. Before the concert we enjoyed an ono dinner at the hotel that he was performing at.

Going to his concerts always make a perfect date.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!
