A Cherry Blossom Themed Gift, Shopping, and Dinner

I hope that everyone is enjoying the summer weather. It has been pretty hot here in SoCal. I think with it being so hot it has made my creative mojo go on vacation to a place that is cooler.  LOL!  I am a bit behind on my crafting.  I better get to work after I finish this post.  What I am going to share with you I made two weeks ago for a friend that loves cherry blossoms like I do. I made her a cherry blossom card using my die cuts along with two clips and a magnet.

I surprised her with the card and items when we went shopping together and had a nice dinner together.

I have not known my friend very long, but it feels like we have known each other for years because we get along so well.  We clicked from the start.  I am truly blest by her friendship and look forward to many more happy and memorable times together.  Thanks for stopping by!

Father's Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend was super busy but fun. I will start off with sharing the tags that I made for the gifts that my family and I gave to different family members and friends.  I created an aloha shirt using the same tag punch from Stampin Up that I used to make a tea bag tag for Mother's Day.

I made the tag so that it could open up for us to right a special message inside. For their gifts we gave them HI snacks.

Here are some pictures of our weekend with started with date night with my hubby.  The greatest hits from both groups were awesome!  Even though the artists are much older than when they first started they still sound just as good.

On Saturday my family and I went to Tanaka Farms for a walk to raise money for those are still in need in Japan from the tsunami. Throughout the 1.5 mile walk we were served fresh fruits and veggies from the farm.

We also got to take a picture with Hello Kitty.

At the end of the walk we were served a light lunch and got to watch a taiko drum performance and hula dancing.  Before heading out we did some shopping.  Check out the super cute products and backdrops!

Before we went home we celebrate Father's Day with my hubby at Disneyland.  On Sunday after church we went to visit my FIL's gravesite but there was so much traffic that we were not able to make it in.  We will visit him this week some time.  For dinner we went out to dinner with my family to celebrate Father's Day.  Here is a picture of my sisters and I with our parents.

I hope that you had a wonderful Father's Day weekend.  Although we had a good time honoring our my dad, my hubby, and my kids' grandparents, uncles, god fathers, and special uncles, teachers, counselors, and friends we were saddened that we were not able to honor Benson's dad and my grandpa in person.  We are grateful that they are in Heaven and that we will one day be able to celebrate with them.  Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Cute Zero Calorie Treats

Thankfully all the paperwork and meetings at work are settling down.  Since work has been so busy I have not had much time to craft.  I am glad that God gave me the opportunity to do some crafting last week which He used to help me to relax a bit.  I added googlie eyes and a mouth to some erasers that I purchased from Le Target and surprised some co-workers with these zero calorie treats.  I put a magnet on the back of each them.

Here a close up picture of them.

Before I end my post I just wanted to share with you some pictures from last weekend.  I don't usually go to the beach locally so it was nice to go last weekend with my daughter and some friends.  We had a nice and relaxing day there at an event by Ju-Ju Be where they had raffles and a free gift. They even revealed 3 new prints that will be released in July.  My favorite one is of course the Hello Kitty print.

Afterwards we had dinner with our families at a Hawaiian restaurant. Check out the onolicous food that we enjoyed. My favorite was the Lilikoi cake. :)

I hope that all of  you are enjoying the weather you are having where you live.  Here in SoCal it has been pretty hot. I hope that those of you that also live here are staying cool.  Whatever the weather is like where you are I hope that all of you are doing well and will have some time to craft.

Two Birthday Cards

Happy Friday! Sorry that I have been MIA!  It has been super busy with work lately.  There has not been much time to do anything but paperwork.  When I am not doing paperwork I am sleeping.  LOL!  I have not done any stamping for the past few weeks.  I am hoping to do some tonight and hopefully this weekend.  :)  What I am going to share with you today are two birthday cards that I made back in April.  Both of them are made with a cherry blossom die that I got for free with purchasing a magazine.

When I saw the die I knew I had to purchase the magazine.  I love the flowers that it cuts and can't wait to use it again soon to make some fun cards.  Have a great weekend!
