A Belated Merry Christmas

I hope that everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas.  My family and I had a fun and memorable day celebrating Jesus birthday. (I was hoping to post the day after Christmas but I had a hard time downloading the pictures from my phone.   I was finally able to get them downloaded last night.) Prior to all the celebrating each night last week I made tags with the assistance of my hubby for our gifts.  We stayed up until 2am for several nights making them.

To save on time we only had one handmade per family.  The families that have more than family member that received a gift received store bought tags. Here are a few of our decorations.

On Christmas day my hubby and I are asked each year to lead worship in the kids' Sunday School Department.  I am always super nervous before we need to do it, but I am always glad that we get to serve together as our gift to Jesus's for His birthday.

Here is a close up picture of our outfits. We thought it would be fun to both wear our "lights."  If you take a closer look at the lights that I was wearing every other light is Mickey's head.  :)

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful week.  Thanks for stopping by!

A Hello Kitty Card and Tag Card

Sorry that I don't have anything with a Christmas theme to post today.  I am a bit behind in getting my tags done.  Hopefully by next week I will have them done.  :)  Today I would like to share with you what I made for two friends that likes Hello Kitty.  The first one is a "thank you" card. (Sorry that I took the picture of the card in the car right before I gave it to my friend.)

The second one is a "birthday" tag that opens like a card.

I love the HK scrapbook paper.  I used one of my favorite HK stamps on them.  Since I don't have any crafty to post today with a Christmas theme here are some fun Christmas themed pictures from Disneyland. My family and I went with some friends there last Saturday.

It was especially awesome experiencing some magical snow. :)I hope that all of you are having fun prepping for Christmas.  I can't believe that it is only 10 days away.

November's Tea Swap

Hope that everyone is doing well and having fun getting ready for Christmas.  My family and ordered out 200+ Christmas cards through Shutterfly on Cyber Monday.  I am almost done with writing our annual newsletter.  After the newsletter is done I will make my Christmas tags.  I hope that I can get them done in time.  Well today I will be sharing the tea swap for Nov.  The optional them was to make a Christmas card or Christmas tags.  I was asked to send a card/tags to Linda. This was the first Christmas card that I sent out for this year.

I sent her a few extra goodies.

She made this card for me

and sent me these items.

Before ending this post I want to share some cute pictures of the time my daughter and I went to a local farm for a tour, to take a picture with Hello Kitty, and several cute backdrops.

The tour was lots of fun.  We got to taste broccoli, persimmon, cuties, lettuce, carrots, and cilantros.  It was the freshest fruits and veggies we ever ate.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!

October's Tea Swap

Hope that this post is finding you doing well. I have been pretty busy with work.  My allergies were also acting up.  I was coughing like crazy off and on throughout the day.  I was coughing a lot in the middle of the night.  The coughing caused me to pull some muscles in my back and in the above my hip.  It was been a bit painful to walk, get up, and cough.  I have been praying that my cough would go away very soon and of course that my aches and pains would too. Thankfully over the weekend my cough has gotten a lot better.  I am still aching a bit.  With working being so busy I have not been crafting.  I am getting very behind on making my Christmas tags. LOL!  Since I have not been crafting for the past two weeks or so what I will be sharing with you today is the tea swap for October.  Yes, from October.  I am a bit behind in posting.  I had the privilege of being paired up with my good friend Fran.  Check out the awesome card that she made for me.

She also surprised me with some fun crafty products

and some of my favorite HI snacks.

This is the card that I made for her

along with the goodies that I sent to her. I sent her a snack too, but I can't seem to find the picture on my hard drive right now.  Sorry!

I think the theme of the swap was Thanksgiving.  It's cool that we both decided to make a card that represents the both of on it. We are both truly blest to be part of each others lives.  I thank the Lord each day for Fran and for the friendship that God has blest us with. Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful rest of your week!
