Cards in Honor of Boss's Day

Hope that everyone is doing well. It has been a bit rough on my end but through it all God has been revealing His love for me in various ways and reminding me what is important in life.  One thing that He has been reminding me is to slow down to take notice not only of the big ways, but the little ways that He works in my life each day.  Through staying focused on Him and taking time to think of others has helped me to make it through each day in a positive way. Two people that I thought of this week was my two bosses.  I surprised my two bosses with a gift and a card to honor them for Boss's Day.  Yes I was a week late in surprising them.  These are the cards that I made.  The tag opens up like a card too.

I used a retired Stampin Up stamp set that has an eagle in the set to put on the card. I used an eagle stamp because that is our mascot.  Before I end this post I would like to share some onolicious pictures of the food that my family and I ate last week at California Adventure.  We ordered sour dough bread bowls.  One was filled with chicken salad and the other one was filled with mac and cheese.

For dessert we had pumpkin spice churros.

Thank you for stopping by. Have blessed weekend!

A Fun Time of Fellowship With a Friend and Bows

Happy Saturday!  My good friend Esther and I used to go out once a month for lunch.  Since August we have seen each other because of my busy work schedule.  Esther and I are grateful that we go to have lunch together this week and have a fun time of fellowship.  We surprised each other with a Hello Kitty themed gift.  This is what Esther made and surprised me with.

This is my gift to her.

I made a bow to put on the bag that I put her goodies in. I had a bigger bow under the white one, but for some reason it does not show up in the picture.

Here are some yummy pictures of what we had for breakfast from Urth Cafe.  There specialty creating a picture in their drinks.

Before leaving I ordered  Pumpkin latte with boba and a matcha green tea Crème brûlée.

Here are a few more bows that I made using the die from Stampin Up.

On the second bow I put piece of Hi-Chew for the center since what is inside the bag is different flavors of Hi-Chew.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Tea Bag Folding Cards and An Anime Event

Happy Monday! I hope that everyone is doing well and had a fun and relaxing weekend.  Today I am going to share with you the tea bag folding technique that was the optional theme for the Tea Swap that I signed up for.  I haven't done the technique for awhile so it was fun to make a card using the technique.  Before making the card I had a to look online to refresh my memory.  This is the card that I made for Brenda

along with a few goodies that I surprised her with.

This are the two fabulous cards that Brenda made for me using the technique

and the stamp set that she surprised me with.

Before ending this post I wanted to share with your a few pictures of the Anime event that my friend and I went to this weekend at a bakery.  The first 50 people got to receive a free donut with a purchase of a drink.  If we "like" their page on FB we get some freebies.  We were fortunate enough to be number 12 in in line when we got there an hour nd 15 minutes before the event started. Before we placed our drink orders we took picture in front of an Anime poster.

Here is the onolicous donut with the laser cut Anime topper.

We each received kawaii poster and coaster.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a good week!

Two Cards and My Weekend

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Even though mine was a busy one it was pretty nice. I am happy that I was able to spend time with my family, friends, and finish up my paperwork in preparation for my meetings at work this week.  Unfortunately, not time for crafting though.  Before I share you a few pictures of this weekend I would like to share with you my tea swap from last month.  The optional theme was to make a card using a new technique, tool, stamp, etc. that we have.  I decided to use a stencil to make a card for Jayne.  (I previously posted a few cards using the same stencil.  The card that I made for Jayne is the first one that I made using the stencil.)

This is the card that she made for me.

Here are a few pictures from my weekend.  After a marriage conference at church on Saturday my family and I went out to lunch with my parents, sisters, BILs, niece, and nephew.  I think we ordered every possible bento box on the menu.  All the food was really good.

This afternoon we went to Disneyland with friends

and had dinner at one of our favorites restaurants Jollibees.  I a halo halo for dessert.

I hope that everyone will have a blessed week.  Thanks for stopping by!
