Gifts

Hope that this post if finding everyone doing well. I am exhausted and am so glad that it is the weekend.  Well today I will be sharing with you some gifts that I made for friends.  I purchased different items from the dollar bin at Target and put googly eyes on them. Yes, I am hooked on the googly eyes!

I got these from the Dollar Tree.

This was for my daughters teacher.

I also decorated some desk organizers.

Before I end this post I want to share with you some fun gifts that I was surprised with this week from special friends.  (I feel that when I receive surprises it is God's way of telling giving me a hug.)  I love them all!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

The "Aloha" Stamp Set and a Pusheen Party

My time off from work will soon coming to an end.  It has been a nice few months off. I am grateful for the times that God has blest me with family and friends but am not ready to go back just yet.  ;( Hopefully when the exact day arrives I will be. Today I will be sharing with you a stamp set called "Aloha" from Lawn Fawn that I have been having lots of fun using. I made these tags to attach to gifts for friends that we got them from our trip to Oahu.

I also made a card for some friends that we had dinner with last weekend using the stamp set.

It has been fun coloring the pineapples with my Copic markers and adding googly eyes to some of them.  Before ending this post I would like to share some pictures of a fun event that my daughter and I went to 2 weeks ago at the It's Sugar candy store in Santa Monica.  It was the Pusheen Party.  We were fortunate that the line was not too long when we go there.  We only had to wait in line for 30 minutes.  While we were waiting the line got longer by the minute.

The store is super cute!

We each got an exclusive Pusheen keychain with a purchase.

I purchased him eating sushi and my daughter purchased two blind boxes. I couldn't resist!  Isn't he just too cute!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I have to share.  Have a fun and crafty weekend!

July's Tea Swap and Time in San Diego

Hope that this post is finding everyone doing well as summer will soon be coming to an end.  Summer has been way too much for my family and I to see it come to an end.  LOL!  We thank the Lord for all the special memories that we have had the past few months with family and friends doing various fun things.  At this end of this post I will share a few pictures of one of the fun things.  Before I do that I will share about last month's tea swap. I was paired up with my dear friend Dori.  I made this donut shaped card for her.

To make the card I used two different size circles, made the sprinkles using a small window punch from Stampin Up, and created the bite out of the donut using the scallop punch.  I fussy cut the chocolate frosting. To finish off the donut with a little cuteness I put googly eyes and a mouth on it. These are the goodies that I surprised her with.

Dori made this cute card for me

and sent me a very generous RAK (I am so sorry that the post-it in the picture is upside down.  I was in a bit of a rush to take the picture.  LOL!)

It was a pleasure as usual having a friend as my tea swap partner.  As this post comes to an end I would like to share some fun and beautiful pictures of our trip to San Diego last weekend.  We enjoyed God's beautiful creation,

ate lots of yummy food (We enjoyed dragon fruit shave ice with a drizzle of honey, a waffle ice cream sandwich, and some macroons.)

and did some shopping. Two of my favorite stores that we went to was Marukai (The one in SD is much better than the one we have at home.) and

Papetales,

We all wish we could still be there. I hope that you enjoyed what I have to share with you in this post.  Have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful upcoming week.  Until next time, take care!

Paired Up With a Good Friend for the Tea Swap

Hope that this post is finding everyone doing well. I still have not been doing much crafting.  I think I must have left my creative mojo in Hawaii when I was on vacation.  LOL!  Today I am going to share the tea swap for June.  My good friend Gail and I were paired up together for the swap.  Check out the fabulous Asian themed projects that she surprised me with

and the yummy goodies too. I can't wait to eat the lychee chocolate.

This is the card that I made for her.  The boy is supposed to be her grandson.  I used different punches for him and the for the shaved ice.

Since the card that I made for her has a HI theme I decided to keep with the theme and send her this stamp set

and oversized bag with a pineapple on it.

I am going to end this post with pictures of my favorite foods from our trip to Oahu. These are onolicious and super sweet fruit from the Farmers' Market. It was our first time seeing the inside of a dragon fruit dark pink.  We usually see it white.

This is garlic shrimp from Fumi's.

This is the sampler platter that I ordered at The Eating House.  It is one of the new restaurants that Roy Yamaguchi opened at the renovated International Market Place.

Here are some of our favorites from Liliha Bakery.  The circular donut is their special- taro donuts.

These are HK shaped waffles.

Besides eating it is always fun to go shopping in Oahu too.

We often need to purchase a new suitcase to hold everything we purchase to bring home.  We have learned to bring duffle bags to put everything in.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great one!
