A Hello Kitty Themed Post

I hope that everyone had a good week.  Today I am going to share with you what I made for my good friend last Saturday.  I surprised her with a little Hello Kitty card

and these two items as her gift.

Here is the gift all put together.

I gave her a HK themed surprise because we were meeting at the HK Café truck that was at our local mall.  My daughter and I got to the mall an hour before the café opened.  We were 10th in line.  Good thing we showed up when we did because the long got longer and longer as the time went on. Here is picture of my friend and I in front of the super cute café.

Here is a picture of the products that my daughter and I purchased.

All the products are much too cute to eat and wear. LOL!  One day I am hoping to go to the actual HK café in Irvine.  I heard that they have many more kawaii products than the café truck.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Tags, Yummy Treats, and a Gift

2017 seems to be swishing by really fast.  I can't believe that it is already January 13.  I hope that all of you are having a wonderful year so far.  Mine has not been too bad.  I have been trying to get used to going back to work.  After having two weeks off my body is having a hard time adjusting to going back to work again.  This week I made some New Years tags for a couple of my co-workers

and attached them to some treats (Peanut Coffee M&Ms and Nestle Crunch bars) and set of buttons.

Before I end this post I wanted to share a super cute belated Christmas gift that a good friend mailed to me.

Thanks for dropping by!  I hope that you will have a wonderful weekend!  Until next time.  :)

A Tea Pot, a Disney Card, and Fun Times

I hope that everyone is having a fabulous 2017 so far.  Mine has been lots of fun with lots of memorable times with family and friends.  I will share some fun pictures with family and friends later on in my post.  Before I share those pictures with you I would like to share with you the tea pot shaped card that I made for a good friend for her birthday.  She loves Hello Kitty and collects tea pots so I thought it would be fun to make her a HK tea pot.

Here are a few pictures of time spent with family and friends.  This is a picture of my hubby and I with one of our favorite Disney artists- Jerrod Maruyama.

I made this card for him.

This week we went to two amusement parks two days in a row.  We had lots of fun but we were all exhausted afterwards.  Here is one of my favorite pictures from Disneyland.

Here is one of my favorite pictures from Knott's Berry Farm.

We also went to the Zoo Lights event at the LA Zoo.

The last few pictures I have to share with you are from the New Year's Festival in Little Tokyo.  My favorite part was the kimono fashion show

and getting to meet two authors (I love Asian books so it was super cool to get to meet two Asian authors and get their autograph.)

and an artist.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!  I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and is looking forward to 2017.  My family and I had a wonderful and memorable time celebrating Jesus's birthday together.  Although Christmas is over I have some more things to share with you with a Christmas theme.  First are the tags that I made this year that I attached to our gifts.

Next are some of the awesome handmade cards and tag that I received.

Last but not least is what I made and received for December's tea swap.  The optional theme was "anything but a card."  This is what I made and sent to Brenda.

I also sent a Disney themed RAK.

This is what Dori made and sent to me.

There is bag of  hot chocolate inside.

Along with the above two handmade projects she included some yummy holiday tea bags and my favorites -li hing mui lychees. Thanks for dropping by.  Have a blessed 2017!

Christmas Cards and Tags

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! Today I am going to share with you what I made and received for two different swaps that I recently participated in.  The first one that I am going to share is from the Secret Sister Swap.  We were asked to make four of the same Christmas card and send to the person that organizes the swap.  In turn she will send  4 cards to us.  I made a card using bling for to make a Christmas tree.

These are the great cards that I got back.  I think the cute ninjas is an extra one from the person in charge of the swap.

For the second swap that I recently participated in we were asked to make two tags to send to the person we are paired up with.  These are the tags that I made.

These are the tags that I received along with a fun card.

Before I end today I wanted to share a few more pictures with you.  This is the mini Christmas tree that my family and I put up this year.  We usually put up a big one but ran out of time.

Here are a few pictures of my hubby and at different Christmas events.

I hope that you will have a wonderful CHRISTmas with family and friends.  During this time of year it difficult for those of you out there that have lost loved ones.  All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Secret Sister Meet and Greet

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of having lunch with 4 of the ladies from the Secret Sister Swap that I join each month. Kathy, the person that organizes the swap, set up the meet and greet for us.  I previously met 2 of the ladies before, but it was great to see them again and of course to finally get to meet the other two ladies.  For the meet and greet I thought it would be fun to surprise each of them with a little some thing that I put together.  I gave each person a Martinelli and decorated it a bit.

These are the fun and thoughtful gifts that the ladies made and gave out.

Here is a picture of us having a onolicous and fun time together. (Next to me is Kathy and Annie.  Next to the brick wall is Kim and next to her is Leanne.)  I listed the ladies names for those of you join the swap each month.  Now you can link the name to the person next time you are paired up with them.
It was fun meeting up with these super creative and nice ladies.  I look forward to getting together with them again one day soon.  Maybe next time more of the ladies from the swap can join us.  Have a wonderful weekend!  Thanks for coming by!

Fall Cards and a Tea Party

Before I go on posting more Christmas cards and projects that I have been working on and that I have received I want to share the cards and RAKs that I made and received for last month's Fall themed tea swap.  I was happy to get to make a card for my friend Brenda.  She is a huge fan of Disney like I am so I wanted to be sure to make her a fun and creative card with that as a theme.  This is what I came up with.

I sent Brenda a few of her other favorite things.  She also likes teddy bears and the color purple so that is what I surprised her with.

My tea swap partner was my friend Dori.  It was such an honor to receive such a beautiful card, tea pouch, and thoughtful RAKs from her.

It is indeed a lot more fun to be paired up with friends for a swap.  Last month I was truly blessed to have Brenda and Dori as my tea swap partners.  Before I end I wanted to share a post of my good friend Esther I having high tea together to celebrate her birthday and Christmas.

Here we are with the Christmas gifts that we surprised each other with.

Here is picture of both of us wearing our "Ugly Sweaters."

We had a fun and memorable time of fellowship as we celebrated two special occasions.  Have a blessed week ahead.  Thanks for stopping by!
