Some More Celebrating

It was another fun weekend celebrating my b-day.  My family and I went out to dinner on Friday to the Spaghetti Factory with some friends from church.

It was so cool that I was sang "Happy B-day" to twice that evening.  Once at the restaurant

and a second time when we were at our friends' house.  They surprised me with a super ono mango cake.

On Saturday my family and I went out to dinner just the four of us to Green Street Restaurant.

I ordered steak with a cabbage salad

and my hubby ordered a Thai chicken, veggies, and rice pilaf.

My son ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and my daughter ordered spagetti. We all loved thier zucchini bread. Of course I got to enjoy being sung to again.

The huge piece of chocolate cake was super ono very light too. On Sunday after church we met our friends, Gail and James, from SF at Downtown Disney at the Rainforest Cafe.  They were down here visiting their daughter and asked us to go out to lunch with them before they left to go home.

My hubby and I ordered a delicious sampler platter that we shared.

My son order mini burgers and my daughter ordered a pizza.  Gail ordered a Chinese chicken salad and James ordered chicken wraps.  We always enjoy our time together and feel so blest to get to see James and Gail twice this month. Gail and I usually swap crafty items each month so instead of mailing her this basket I thought it was easier to give it to her in person.

I put a box of tea in the basket and also gave her come coconut patty snacks for her and hubby to enjoy on the way home.

Gail made me a cute card in some of my favorite colors.

After lunch my family and I spent the rest of the day at Disneyland.  It was the perfect day to have a relaxing time there.  I was especially happy to get to take a picture with one of  the mice from "Cinderella."  (My daughter was really excited too.) It's really rare to see her walking around.

I think this was only our second time that we've seen her even though we have been to Disneyland so many times. It was lots of fun getting wished "Happy B-day" by different cast members and guests at the park.  They all knew I was celebrating my b-day because of the special Disney pen I was wearing. It has been such a blast celebrating my b-day with family and friends.  I truly feel very blest to have such special people in my life.  I have a few more b-day celebrations to look forward to. Good thing I don't turn a year older each time I celebrate.  LOL!

  1. Wow Colleen, you sure celebrate your birthday first-class. I don't think I know anyone else who has multiple celebrations. I'm happy for you. Enjoy your upcoming ones too. Ummm, Mango Cake sounds deeelicious. I could go for that Sampler Plate too. It's making me hungry just before bedtime. Sweet card and gifts too. Have great week!!!!
