An Ono and Crafty Post

It was nice for a change not to need to do paper work on the weekend.  I am grateful for a little break from it.  Working with card stock and DSP is definitely much more fun than working on paperwork.  :) On the weekend I had a chance to get started on my Christmas craft projects which I will be sharing with you shortly.  Besides having fun working on projects I enjoyed helping out at the Santa's breakfast at my work, having dinner and super yummy dessert at a Guppy House that just opened locally.  We ordered a strawberry icee and

coconut toast.  It's funny that we liked our dessert more than what we ordered for dinner.  :)

and celebrating November and December b-day with my parents, sisters, BILs, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was super yummy eating at the seafood/sushi/Chinese food buffet that we went to.  I had the most fun dipping strawberries into the chocolate fountain.  :)

Along with sharing pictures of my weekend I wanted to share with you what I made for my Sister Sister for last month.  The theme of the swap was to make some thing to show that you are "thankful."  I made her this card and sent her a little RAK.

Before ending I want to share with you a picture of the the huge amount of Stampin Up goodies that I was able to get either for free or for 50% off through a stamp club that I attend each month.

It was my turn last month to be the hostess and thanks my friends in the club I was able to get lots of items on my wishlist.  The items that I have wanted for the past few months are the new stamp pads.  I was so excited and surprised to be able to get all the color families.  Thanks for stopping by today to see what I have to share.

  1. Holy wow, Colleen!!! That's one heck of an ENORMOUS and yummy looking dessert. Did you finish it? If I ate all of that, I think I'd be cross-eyed by the time I was done AND rolling out of the restaurant. LOL. You folks have such awesome restaurants in So Cal. I've never heard of Coconut Toast. Sounds deelish too. I can just taste the chocolate-dipped strawberries. Hope you ate some for me. I'm licking my chops. The card you made for your "sister" is so pretty. Love it. Whoa, and you really scored on your SU goodies. I'm happy for you. Have a nice evening.
