Happy Easter! I hope that everyone had a good Easter. Mine was very meaningful with my family and I starting our Easter on Friday by going to good Friday service at church. Then yesterday we went out with three other families to visit a church about an hour a half away to join their Easter program. Today we went to Sunday School and to worship at our church. Beginning from Friday God has reminded me through different songs and messages from the Bible that no matter what the circumstance as Christians we have hope because of what Jesus has done on the cross for us. I praise God for that reminder. If any of you would like more detail about what I am talking about please let a comment. To celebrate that my Savior is Risen I made carrot magnets.
On the big carrots I wrote the message "No bunny loves you like Jesus."
I also made tags using the retired Lattice die from Stampin Up.
Lastly I asked my hubby to draw a cross on some eggs for my Sunday School students. I left the eggs empty to remind them that "Jesus is Risen." The two egg shells are supposed to symbolize the empty tomb. Thanks for stopping by! Have a good week everyone!

February-March's Secret Sister Swap
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful April so far. Today I am going to share with you February-March's Secret Sister round. It was another fun one since I was paired up with my friend Mary. We have never met each other by our love for God and card making has made us kindred spirits. When we KIT in our e-mails it seems like we have known each other for years. Well without too much more jabbering here is the card that made for her.
I made a card that is similar to this one for another friend. It is in a different color and I added a Japanese girl.
This is how both of the cards would look if they were open.
This is the pretty card that she sent to me.
Before I end this post I wanted to share with you where my friend Carol and I went to visit a week ago. We went shopping at the Marker Pop warehouse. We love shopping in their online store so we thought it would be fun to go shopping at their warehouse. Although we expected it to be a lot bigger than it was we still had a lot of fun and purchase some cool products.
They have sale products from some of my favorite stamp companies- The Greeting Farm, Lawn Fawn, Avery Elle, and My Favorite Things. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

My Week With Friends and Crafting
This week I had a week off from work which was very nice and relaxing. I thank the Lord for the chance to relax and spend some time with different good friends. I surprised each of them with a RAK. On Monday I went our to lunch with Esther. This is what I surprised her with.
She made this beautiful card for me.
Esther I went our for Mexican food. The menudo was my favorite.
On Tuesday I went out to lunch with Rita. This is what I made and got for her.
We went to a restaurant at the mall that makes different types of chicken. I ordered Hainan Chicken and she ordered roasted chicken
On Wednesday afternoon my hubby and I went to a museum together and had lunch together. He ordered Loco Moco with an oxtail sauce. I ordered Duck Confit. We shared an eggplant dish that is made in three different ways. I should have surprised my hubby with a card, but I didn't. I will have to whip up one for him one day soon.
On Wednesday evening Susanna and I went to prayer meeting together and went out for dessert afterwards.
This is what I made for her and gave to her.
I thank the Lord for the opportunity to spend time with some of my good friends this week and with my hubby. It was fun to get to make a card/project each day this week. Stay tune for what I worked on yesterday. Have a wonderful weekend!

Meeting One of My Favorite Authors
Hope that this post is finding everyone having a wonderful Spring so far. Spring is one of my favorite seasons. The only problem is that when Spring starts my allergies do too. The past few days my allergies have been pretty bad. Hopefully it will be under control soon. Okay enough about my allergies. Let's move onto what I did almost a week ago. Last Tuesday I went to a local bookstore and met one of my favorite Asian American authors, Lisa See. Before going to her book signing and new book release I made her a card and wrote her a special message.
Listening to her talk about the research she did before writing her new book and how she met the different people that the characters in her book portray was so interesting. I am fortunate enough that this was my second time having the opportunity meet Lisa.
It was great that if we purchased her new book that evening that we can get 3 other books that she wrote signed. I asked her to sign two of my books from home and a friend's book.
After and before the event they served tea.
Before I end this post I wanted to share a fun event that my family and I attended this weekend. We went to a Bubble Run at Angel Stadium. It was a 3 mile run/walk with 5 bubble tunnels.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed week!

February's Tea Swap and a Food and Wine Festival
For last month's tea swap Jayne and I were paired up. The optional theme was "I heart tea" and the optional colors were red, pink, and white. Just to challenge myself a little bit I made a card that incorporated both options.
It was fun dusting off my circle flip die from Stephanie Bernard. This is the card the super cute card and handmade envelope that she sent to me.
Both of us surprised each other with a RAK too so that was pretty cool. This is what Jayne surprised me with
and what I surprised her with.
Before ending this post I wanted to share you some pictures from the Food and Wine Festival at California Adventure that we went to last Sunday after we celebrated the 65th Anniversary of our check. Our entire church from the youngest child to the eldest person worshiped the King of Kings together. That was very awesome!
Here are some pictures from the Food and Wine Festival.
The festival is on for another few weeks. We can't wait to go back again to get our free annual pass buttons. Thanks for stopping by!

Fun Tags for Gifts
A few months ago I put together a Japanese themed gift for some friends. I inked up and colored some of my Japanese girl stamps from Dandelion Designs to make a tag to attach to the gift bag that I put the fun knickknacks in. Along with inking up and coloring the girls used a stamp with Asian words on it for the background. I used one of my SU tag die cuts to cut the background. This is how the tag turned out.
I put sushi magnets (Doesn't the sushi look yummy!), washi tape, and a package of Japanese erasers into the gift bags.
Here is a picture of everything put together.
It was fun surprising my friends with the gift. Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

January's Tea Swap and AP Pictures
Yes I am a little late in posting pictures of what I made and received from my tea swaps. In January I had the pleasure of being paired up with my friend Brenda. She is a huge fan of Disney like I am so I made her this card
and sent her this RAK. (I am sorry that I did not crop the pictures before I posted them.)
She made this card
and an awesome tea themed calendar.
Before I end I wanted to share some pictures of the time that my family and I had for the past 4 weeks being honored as Annual Passholders at Disneyland. We are happy that we got to purchase the special merchandise,
take pictures with different characters,
get free buttons each week and a pennant,
and purchase yummy food.
We even got to meet the artist that created the buttons and get his autograph.
Thanks for dropping by today. I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and will have a great week ahead. Hugs!
